None More Worthy: Praise That Responds

Day 2 from the “All The Praise Belongs: A Devotional on Living a Life of Praise”

Scripture:

“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” — Revelation 5:12 (NIV)

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” — 1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)

Devotional:

Praise isn’t a filler between songs or a nice emotional moment — it’s our response to the glory of God. None More Worthy captures the language of heaven: “Holy, holy… none more worthy.”

Revelation 5:12 (NIV) shows us a picture of heaven erupting in worship — not because everything is easy, but because Jesus is worthy. He is the Lamb who was slain, the only one able to redeem and restore. This kind of praise doesn’t wait for things to get better. It begins with a revelation of who Jesus is.

We’ve been called out of darkness. We’ve been given a new identity. And with that comes a calling: to declare His praise (1 Peter 2:9 NIV). In every season, through every breath, our lives can echo the song of eternity.

Prayer:

Jesus, You are worthy — not just of a song, but of my whole life. Teach me to respond to Your holiness with awe, and to declare Your praise in all I do.
