Sometimes praise looks like singing at the top of your lungs. Other times, it looks like simply trusting God with the next step. Trust and Obey reminds us that joyful, obedient faith is one of the clearest expressions of worship.

Praise isn’t a filler between songs or a nice emotional moment — it’s our response to the glory of God. None More Worthy captures the language of heaven: “Holy, holy… none more worthy.”

Real praise doesn’t come from perfection — it flows from confidence in what Jesus has already done. In Finished Work, we’re reminded that we don’t worship to earn God’s love — we worship because it’s already been given.

“Jesus Has Risen. After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. The Lord Jesus on the night he was betrayed took bread. And when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, ‘This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’ In the same way after supper, he took the cup, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this whenever you drink it in remembrance of me.’ For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.” — 1 Corinthians 11:23-26
